During this project I created a procedural tool in SideFX Houdini that would create Dutch city canals. The idea is that users can easly draw a curve, wich serves as input for generating a canal alongside that curve. It then, with the help of user defined parameters such as canal width, height, building lenght etcetera, creates procedural geometry such as houses, bridges and fences. The random seed, used for generating different types of houses, is also tweakable for the user giving him a lot of control over the visual outcome of the procedure.
The project took roughly 7 weeks
